“While beauty standards are irrelevant and following them is endless as they change just like seasons every year, it is not wrong if you want to achieve some body and skin goals to feel more confident and secure within yourself.”

At the end of a day what matters the most is you being comfortable and happy with your own skin and body. So, for that if you feel like kicking away some pounds and wear the dress you been dying to wear, it is absolutely great, or making those muscles to get that shirt fit in you the perfect way possible that’s also amazing and also if you want to adapt a new skincare routine to have that radiant and clear skin that will make you feel more confident this is also nice.

What is not acceptable is you defining yourself with all of these. Remember that you are far more than those abs and muscles and that shiny skin.

So, if you are agreeing with that then only read further and we are all ready to help you with sharing some tips by which you can ensure good skin conditions throughout the year (and if you don’t have that skin throughout the year, that’s not end of the world okay no worries!)

Some Tips For A Healthy and Good Skin Throughout the Year –

Use Just Enough Products

The key to efficient and best skincare is keeping it simple.

  • Cleanser
  • Moisturiser
  • Sunscreen

That’s all you need for an everyday skincare routine. However, there are some particular needs your face does have according to your skin type and skin issues, still it is best to have a minimal and gentle skincare routine for your everyday needs of the skin.

Anyways, what even is the benefit of using 10 skincare products when your face won’t even be able to absorb and take nourishment out of them.

Diet Matters

It is not always about what you put from outside in your skin, when your body has no necessary nutrients, energy to heal and even vital functions are taking place perfectly, then whatever you put on your skin will be a waste.

Eat a balanced diet. Put all those vital vitamins, minerals, proteins, etc inside your body.

Also, not just healthy, you should be mindful of all the junk, processed, oily and sugary food you are putting inside your body. What you eat affects every aspect of your body, even your skin health.

Hydrate from within

Yes, get that hydrating moisturizer and apply it day and night, but if you are dehydrated within, your moisturizer would not get absorbed in your body through your skin and fill in the role of what only water could do.

So, drink as much water as you can throughout the day. While water doesn’t directly contribute to skin and its health and prevent acne or breakouts, it does play a huge role in maintaining the other functions of the body. That includes elimination of toxins and excess heat from the body too. These both aspects affect our skin and do have a role in what our skin health will be like. So, when water isn’t something that targets your skin and its health, it does have a vital role in making your body healthier and ultimately your skin gets healthy too.

Sunscreen is a Must

No! Don’t skip the sunscreen at any cost. It saves you from not just skin problems like wrinkles, age spots, hyperpigmentation, loose or saggy skin but also from skin cancer.

What do Dermatologists say about these sunscreens? It’s their favorite product. They even suggest wearing sunscreen under makeup and even reapplying it after every 2-3 hours of application.

Don’t Forget the Neck

People tend to make this mistake, putting all the skincare products on their face and leaving the neck unprotected and dehydrated. Apply whatever skincare routine you follow on the skin of your neck too.

The skin of the neck is not as thin as the skin of your face, but it needs care and nourishment too as it is the most exposed to sunlight and environmental pollution after the skin of the face.

Exfoliate

Your face feels dull and rough? One of the main causes of it is accumulation of dead skin cells on your face.

So, the solution lies in exfoliation. Using those home remedy face masks or those exfoliating serums once a week, will help you achieve what you are looking for.

Though, remember that, over exfoliation could lead to more breakouts and pigmentation on your skin. So, be mindful of your frequency of days when you sit and focus on getting rid of those dead skin cells and tanning.

Double Cleanse

Washing your face with just a cleanser sometimes is not enough because the all day makeup for sunscreen gets deep in the pores of your skin and gets accumulated there. Double cleansing your face before sleeping is the solution for it. Use a cleansing balm or micellar water to remove the makeup and then cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser. This will ensure that every inch of your face is clean and has no makeup or sunscreen in it and then you feel no clogged pores and breakouts.
